Dryer Vent Cleaning

A comprehensive dryer vent cleaning and inspection was performed on this San Mateo single-family home, which featured a roof-mounted exterior vent cap with rigid metal ductwork running through the attic to the dryer location. The interior ductwork was found to be heavily laden with lint accumulation and debris throughout the run, restricting airflow and creating a fire hazard. The entire vent line was thoroughly cleaned from the dryer connection through to the exterior termination, removing significant lint buildup and restoring proper ventilation. The roof-mounted vent cap was inspected and confirmed to be functioning properly to prevent back-drafting and pest intrusion.
